Two Fine Portrait Miniatures. French, 19th Century

The first  possibly a depiction of  Clothilde Gräfin von Wylich und Lottum (1809-1894)

The countess is depicted at quarter-length,  facing the viewer. . She is wearing a simple black dress with neckline of a reserved white lace trim.

The countess was doubly unfortunate as her husband died before her father (though at this point she succeeded to her father's properties)  Signed indistinctly on middle right "J. Oteler"?

The second depicts a Lady in white lace dress, wrapped in brown lace silk shawl with blue bow around neck,  signed middle right "Villeneuve"  and in the style of  Cécile Villeneuve (1824 – 1901) with the subject unidentified.

Both portraits in matching frames with bronze and applique surrounds and intricate raised floral details.

Measuring by sight: 3 3/8" in height x 2 1/2" in width
