Early American Gilt Wood and Bronze Clock Face.
Regular price $550
With the patinated bronze pendulum in the form of Apollo with rays of sunlight haloing his face. Above is an eagle, clutching a grape vine in his talons, with his head turned to the right; the laden vines cascade on each side, further framing the god's visage. The white porcelain clock face is surrounded by a band of stylized petals, and detailed at each corner by a single bound, and flowering sprig.
The clock works are missing and have been replaced with a battery driven motor.
Measuring 17 1/2" in height x 14" in width and 5" in depth
